Vans AVE Classic VCU Shoes Boys Of Summer in Anthony and Dressen. Part of the brand’s newest Boys of Summer capsule and co-designed by Eric Dressen and Anthony Van Engelen, the Vans AVE Classic VCU is also assigned to Vans’ Skate Classics collection. Featuring black nubuck uppers with a perforated forefoot, this low collar Vans skate shoe also features reinforced DURACAP underlays, a PopCush footbed and an all-new two part foxing. Each translucent rubber outsole features printed blue ‘Boys of Summer’ cursive branding, whilst each underfoot is detailed with asymmetric ‘Dressen’ and ‘Anthony’ signature detailing. A white stitch ollie zone can be found across each exterior side wall, whilst the recessed, eyelet lacing system secures the ‘Off The Wall’ tongue in place. Finished with an embroidered Skate Classics checkerboard flag label, embossed ‘Dressen’ and ‘Anthony’ lateral quarter branding and with Vans’ ‘Off The Wall Skateboarding’ heel scabs.
A celebration of the friendships that make skateboarding fun, the latest Vans x Boys of Summer capsule follows on from 2021’s release and Jeff Potocar’s original edit from 2015. A tribute to emerging and established skaters, the Boys of Summer legacy is one renowned for their lighthearted and nostalgic edits and for their passion for celebrating the raw essence of skateboarding culture.
