Designed like our award-winning "Crocs" but featuring thicker materials, our burliest gaiters are designed for extended mountaineering trips in extreme conditions. The three-layer construction features a GORE-TEX® membrane for waterproof protection, a Cordura® shell for crampon abrasion resistance, and a 420D packcloth lining for breathability. The double-stitched hook-and-loop front closure provides a secure fit, while the BioThane instep strap ensures a comfortable, customized fit. The large circumference is roomy enough for plastic boots and heavily insulated pants, providing complete coverage. For venturing deep into the mountains in harsh weather and extreme conditions, the Expedition Crocodile Gaiters are a must-have mountaineering accessory.
Fit Note! We recommend sizing down one full size for best fit with lightweight hiking boots, shoes or trail runners. When wearing your gaiters properly, the instep strap buckle should lie on the side of your shoe, not underneath.
